Gabriola Talks: A ‘made-on-Gabe’ public engagement process
Gabriola Talks! is an ongoing series of conversations between fellow islanders about complex issues that affect the community. Sustainable Gabriola hosted the first meeting in May 2019 to ask participants to envision what effective cross-community dialogue could look like, and to help identify topics for future discussion. The workshop was designed to draw out ideas of what does (and does not) work in community discussions, and to set some grounding principles for future discussions.
